White

Elena_ray142
Kinwashi is a different paper after it has been whitewashed with opaque Ink Aid. White creates positive emptiness.

I saw a white on white photograph where the were no blacks, only pale greys, to support the white. It was an exceptionally calming image. Adding blacks into the image would have reduced it's transporting mechanism.

Is it possible to express oneself in words using only the upper tonal ranges of language?

Without strain or effects, could one be present with almost no shadow in their expression?
