White (2)
Here I have begun my study of white on white.
The amateur poet strives for perfection.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
No word, it seems to me, is made for a single tone. Every word carries within it the possibility of the entire range of tonalities.
It is the underlying beingness of the writer that charges the words with their light, and then lays their shadows after them.
This image is my poem. I like the words in it: "bone", "stones", "leaf"...but that's not really a poem, is it?

Hola Elena, logging on from Andalucia, Spain today! I too love to shoot white on white. I am going to have to let you have a copy of my trial version of my new Lightroom preset, 'WhiteLighter', which is part of a collection of presets I am developing specifically for working on white images. Here in Andalucia, there is so much white, it is photographer's heaven, the Coast of the Light / Costa de la Luz, with white towns, white cities, so much white light...
I really enjoyed logging onto your blog today, and seeing all the new work since I last logged on [been traveling and petsitting for most of the last 13 days].

Hola Blue, what a dream-an entire white on white landscape! Can't wait to see your work and hear your stories. I want that trial version of your preset (what's a preset?). Whatever it is if it helps me attain the zen light of your white images I'm totally into it. MUCH Love to you Senorita Azul !! Senora e. Rey.
