I'm ready to make a leap of consciousness. The old struggles are no longer interesting. They do not engage my mind. My energy passes through them-they are mirages. I once sought big monuments of proof that I existed-no more. For me going deeper is better. Deeper insight is all that I seek...and a beautiful cup to drink from.

This image is, for me, a story, a narrative, a novella. It is pregnant with the question "why?" Why is she out here? I'd like to think it was a fight with a lover about sea turtles, or something else weird.

That you "see" and record what you feel, and that this seeing and recording communicates, even to one person...you have no idea how cool you are. "Cool" in a Steve McQueen sort of way... Oh, I hope this is not insulting. There's a strong feminine energy, but mostly human, in everything you make. I'm going to stop talking now. Way too much coffee today. The book was pitched to Penguin this morning and they are eager to look at it. Fingers crossed.
